Proclamation of Thanksgiving

Proclamation of Thanksgiving
This is the proclamation which set the precedent for America's national day of Thanksgiving. During his administration, President Lincoln issued many orders similar to this. For example, on November 28, 1861, he ordered government departments closed for a local day of thanksgiving. Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Several other places around the world observe similar celebrations. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States and on the second Monday of October in Canada. Thanksgiving has its historical roots in religious and cultural traditions, and has long been celebrated in a secular manner as well.

Ball is life

Ball is life
I want to write about the kid in the basketball game because what they did for him was amazing. They gave him a big act of kindness, and he won his first basketball game. the opposing team must have been mad at the fact that one of their teammates had given the kid the ball and he actually made it after that.

“if it is not right do not do it; if it is not true do not say it”

I agree with this because a lot of people start rumors and gossip that can ruin others people reputation. Sometimes people don’t even own up to what they say which is frustrating.

There handy when it comes to getting things as well and does them easy part a dentist doesn’t do.
