responsibilities: they have to help
apply simple steps to a patient’s mouth, like take x-rays or while the dentist
is cleaning your teeth you salivate a lot that they have to literally suck the
saliva out of you. There handy when it comes to getting things as well and does
them easy part a dentist doesn’t do.
Salary:
The pay scale for dental assistants ranges from about $23,550 to
$47,580. In 2012, the average pay for dental assistants was $35,080 and the
median pay was $34,500. Those with the highest salaries live in the
metropolitan areas of San Francisco, Nashua, N.H., and Haverhill, Mass.
Education: For certification, a dental assistant must pass the Certified
Dental Assistant exam administered by the Dental Assisting National Board.

Reflection: I do not want to be a dentist assistant because I don’t want to be
second best nor be bossed around and I feel like people mouth is just not my thing
