Duties and responsibilities: Athletic trainers work in various facilities involving athletic health care programs. The usual duties of an athletic trainer may include assessing and treating injuries, as well as helping in the reconditioning process. Athletic trainers may also educate athletes concerning the prevention of injuries. Proper techniques of taping, bracing, strapping and the fitting of athletic equipment must be demonstrated by these professionals.
Salary: $35,000 to $75,000
Education: Maintain current certification and continuing education requirements as set forth by the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Maintain current state licensure in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners Maintain current certification in CPR/Emergency Cardiac Care.

Reflection: I actually wouldn’t mind being an athletic trainer because there perks are good. We help people get over a pain they have/had for a lot of money. I actually really wouldn’t mind.
